Loly y sus Atrevidos de la Bachata Celebrate 15 Years of Making Music in Baracoa

Fifteen years ago, a small group of musicians got together in Baracoa to form a bachata band. They called it Los Atrevidos.  A young singer named Loly Toirac, a newcomer to the Baracoa music scene, joined the band as a singer. It wasn’t long before Loly became the bandleader and Loly y sus Atrevidos de la Bachata was born.  Since then, the band has become a fixture on the local music scene, with regular gigs at Casa de La Trova and Casa del Cacao, as well as appearances at special events and festivals in Baracoa and throughout the region.
