Loly y sus Atrevidos de la Bachata wish everyone a Happy and Healthy 2018 full of Cuban music and dancing- bachata, salsa, merengue and more!  To start off the new year right, here is a look behind the scenes with the band.

Loly y sus Atrevidos de la Bachata in Havana

Just days after Hurricane Irma (by then downgraded to a tropical storm) wreaked havoc in Havana, Loly y sus Atrevidos de la Bachata boarded a bus in Baracoa at 4:00 AM for the long drive to Havana. They finally arrived at their destination at 2:00 AM the following morning.

The band was in Havana to perform 2 shows for special audiences that included the national director of EGREM, Cuba’s national recording label and oldest recording studio.

This was the first time that the band had made the long trip to Havana to perform as a group. They were thrilled with the enthusiastic reception that they received from their audiences.
